The Chinese sports delegation of this Olympic Games had 404 athletes, who participated in 30 major events, 42 sub-events and 232 minor events, and won 40 gold, 27 silver and 24 bronze medals in 11 major events and 14 sub-events, a total of 91 medals, achieving the best record in the history of overseas participation in my country since its full participation in the Summer Olympics in 1984.
